Position Description:

• Will help lead operational management of company's drug discovery and early development projects studied in close collaboration with conpany's cademic and industry peer partners
• Work closely with the Project Team Leader (PTL) and collaborators’ Project Managers to ensure cross functional alignment and accountability
• Interact with team members of various levels of experience and at multiple sites to facilitate project and resource planning, tracking, reporting and budgeting
• Partner with the PTL and Finance to generate accurate forecasts for project expenses
• Collaborates effectively with multiple cross-functional partners within and outside of organization

Position requirements:

• 8-10+ years of relevant experience with a B.S. in a life science discipline
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a M.S. and/or MBA
• 3+ years of relevant experience with a Ph.D. in a life science discipline
• Must have proven project management experience in drug development at biotechnology or pharmaceutical company
• Strong understanding of discovery research, pre-clinical development and overall drug development process
• Experience in managing projects that involve close interactions with external collaborators
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a proven ability to promote collaborations
• Effectively communicate progress toward milestones, opportunities, and risks to all stakeholders
• Must be willing to work onsite at least three days per week
